Despite of being a pleasant and beneficient atmospheric phenomenon, wind can be extremely damaging and cause lesions to plants, such as breaking branches, lacerating flowers and leaves, bruising fruit or causing it to fall before its ripe, and also create an excessive evapotranspiration.
Because of the constant maintenance required by positioning natural barriers, such as long rows of trees, the most functional and immediate solution is the installation of artificial windbreaks, perpendicularly to the direction of the predominant winds.
Our proposal
UV-resistant run-proof knitted netting, in HD polyethylene monofilament.
The reinforced eyelets along the selvages and every metre inside the net, facilitate installation.
These nets are available in different densities (ranging from 30% to 70%) to satisfy the specific wind protection requirements.
