Insects, with their sucking and virus transmission activities, are a very serious problem that affects modern agriculture, developing growth inhibiting substances in crops. This causes a reduction in production quantity and quality, as well as considerable deterioration in the plants.
Because of the huge damages caused to the environment and to the health of man by using chemical products, and the fact insects often grow accustumed to insecticide, becoming resitant to it, the most effective method is represented today by covering greenhouses with insect-proof nets.
Our proposal
High tenacity nets in HDPE monofilament UV stabilized. Thanks to an innovative process of extruding the yarn, by using modern Sulzer looms, Biorete, despite of being a very dense fabric, is very light and allows sufficient air to pass through it, encouraging luxuriant growth in the crops below. The transparent white colour ensures crops maximum light, while the different mesh sizes allow the protection against different types of insects.
