Hail is the first enemy of farmers, affecting almost all crops. However, fruit is the most widely affected one. In fact, as well as damaging or destroying current crops, hail also destroys branches and shoots, meaning that the plant will only regain its previous production conditions after several years have passed. Countless hail defence studies and research have failed to provide satisfactory results, while passive protection systems, such as insurance policies and solidarity funds, only cover part of the risk, ensuring survival for the farmer but no actual earnings. Because of this, attention has switched from recovering the damage to preventing it by means of anti-hail netting.

Our proposal

HDPE monofilament netting with high UV resistance. The specially designed knitted mesh guarantees the fabric will not run, even after the most violent hail storms.
